Move Within ~ Intuitive Movement & Embodied Awareness
12 September - Hosted by Hara Shanti in collaboration with Ashley, a breathwork, intuitive movement and sound therapy specialist
Our bodies are constantly communicating with us.
Long before the mind understands what we’re feeling, the body has already noticed. It holds tension, adapts to stress, and quietly carries experiences that words cannot always express.
This Wellness Saturday invites you to reconnect with your body’s natural wisdom through intuitive movement. Rather than learning choreography or perfecting poses, you’ll be guided to move in ways that feel authentic, restorative, and freeing.
When we give the body permission to move without judgment, we create space for regulation, creativity, and deep self-connection.
The Intention
This day is about listening rather than striving.
Together we’ll explore how gentle, intuitive movement can help release accumulated tension, reconnect us with our inner rhythms, and restore a greater sense of ease within the nervous system.
You don’t need dance experience, flexibility, or coordination—only curiosity and a willingness to explore.
What Makes This Experience Different
Most movement classes focus on performance, fitness, or achieving a particular outcome.
This experience is different.
Instead of following choreography, you’ll learn to notice what your body needs in each moment. Through guided somatic practices, music, mindfulness, and nervous system education, you’ll discover movement as a language of regulation rather than exercise.
The emphasis isn’t on how movement looks—it’s on how it feels.
The Experience
This September Wellness Saturday is a gentle invitation to reconnect with your body through intuitive movement, curiosity and embodied awareness. Together we’ll explore how movement can become a pathway to regulation, expression and self-trust.
You will be guided through:
An Introduction to the Nervous System & Embodied Awareness
A practical exploration of how stress is stored within the body, why we often disconnect from physical sensations, and how developing body awareness supports nervous system regulation, emotional resilience and overall wellbeing.
Guided Intuitive Movement
Gentle, facilitated movement practices that encourage you to move beyond choreography and into authentic self-expression. You’ll be invited to listen deeply to your body’s signals, allowing movement to emerge naturally and without judgement.
Breathwork for Presence & Regulation
Accessible breathing practices that help calm the nervous system, anchor attention in the present moment, and create an internal sense of safety before movement begins.
Somatic Exploration & Mindful Movement
Slow, mindful movement experiences designed to cultivate curiosity, release unnecessary muscular tension and reconnect with the body’s innate intelligence through sensation rather than performance.
Integration Through Reflection & Rest
Time to pause, journal and simply be—allowing the body and mind to integrate the experience while creating space for greater clarity, self-awareness and ease.
